Frankincense Dilution
Boswellia thurifera
5% Frankincense oil blend
Steam distillation of the gum resin of the plant produces this fresh terpene top note oil with a warm rich sweet balsamic undertone, also known as Olibanum. Excellent for use on mature and dry skin, has an anti-wrinkle effect when added to creams and carrier oils. The ancient Egyptians used it in rejuvenating facemasks. Often vaporised during meditation or for a traditional, wintry aroma.
